Mallorcan Ensaimadas

A Spanish spiral roll generously topped with powdered sugar. These are best eaten warm with a giant helping of self-control. These ensaimadas depart from tradition, so they are prepared with butter instead of lard. But they remain light and delicious so do not leave them unattended. You have been warned.
